About

From its personal roots in 1993 among a group of similarly minded people who responded to a need on the Texas A&M Campus through being an affiliated organization with Texas A&M University to today in which SB 17 has forced allies passionate about making space for LGBTQIA+ people in the community, Aggie Allies as a group has found a way to endure and demonstrate resilience.

Today Aggie Allies has an memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Pride Community Center to act as fiscal agent to the organization led by a steering committee and nurtured by liasons from Pride Community Center. This means that donations to Aggie Allies go through Pride Community Center, but are earmarked and spent by Aggie Allies as a group under the auspices of the steering committee.

We hope you will come back to Aggie Allies and build safe space with us, one person at a time.
